Finnish Ambassador Christer Michelsson with a business delegation have visited Šiauliai. The purpose of the visit – promoting business and science cooperation, strengthening economic partnership and discussing investment opportunities in Šiauliai.

“Together with the Finnish-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce and Finnish business representatives, we came to the regional industry center – Šiauliai. We hope that useful initial contacts will be created. Finnish businesses are interested in the Šiauliai Free Economic Zone”, said Ambassador Ch. Michelsson.

After the meeting in Šiauliai City Municipality, guests visited NATO Mission in Šiauliai and a local confectionery factory “Rūta”. In the afternoon, a business session was organized at the company Baltik Vairas, where guests were presented with an overview of the engineering industry, success stories of science and business cooperation, investment opportunities in Šiauliai FEZ.
